Off the strip breakfast Restaurants

Looking for breakfast in Las Vegas? I love breakfast, and that passion doesn’t change when I travel. It’s my favorite meal of the day, and I’m always on the lookout for local breakfast spots wherever I go. Whether they’re fancy restaurants or cozy diners, I don’t mind as long as the food is delicious. Here are a few breakfast joints I’ve discovered during my trips to Las Vegas over the past years.

Middle Child

3900 Paradise Rd Suite N, Las Vegas, NV 89169

Middle Child, the latest addition to the Nectaly Mendoza family, just opened in 2024 and is already turning heads. It’s one of my go-to spots for breakfast in Las Vegas. They serve breakfast and lunch, but now they’ve started serving dinner, too, from 5 PM to 10 PM. It’s a great spot, no matter what time you’re hungry!

I swung by for brunch right after landing at the airport, which was a perfect way to fuel up before heading to the nearby convention center. The eggs Benedict were outstanding, and the French toast? Total showstopper—gorgeous and delicious!

And, just like at other Mendoza spots, the cocktails really stand out. They’re expertly crafted and go great with the food, turning the whole dining experience into something to remember. Middle Child isn’t just a place to eat; it’s all about enjoying good vibes and awesome flavors.

Siegel’s Bagelmania

252 Convention Center Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89109

My friend Jonathan suggested I try this breakfast spot, and I’m happy I did! Siegel’s Bagelmania offers a great selection of bagels along with some tasty classic breakfast choices. The place has a fun atmosphere; you want to snap a selfie with their big bagel sign outside! This is close to the strip, so if you don’t want to venture far for breakfast in Las Vegas, this is a good choice.

Early Birds, A Breakfast Spot

5025 Blue Diamond Rd Suite #101/102 , 89139

Early Birds, A Breakfast Spot opened in April 2024 by 81/82 Group. The menu has a great mix of classic breakfast favorites, tasty eggs Benedict with rich hollandaise, and some really unique pancakes that you won’t want to miss. There’s also a fun lineup of breakfast cocktails to kick off your day. If you’re in the mood for something healthy, try the wellness shot—it’s a zesty blend of tea, lemon juice, honey, a dash of cayenne, ginger, and mint. And the best part? Breakfast is available all day, so no need to rush if you love sleeping in!

Griddlecakes

2375 Via Inspriado, Henderson, NV 89044 (this is the one I visited, they have multiple locations.)

Giddlecakes is a locally owned restaurant with four locations. They are known for their delicious griddlecakes and friendly neighborhood atmosphere. In addition to their signature pancakes, they also serve incredible skillets all day long. So, if you find yourself in need of breakfast after a night at the casino, you can still enjoy a tasty meal here.

Badger Cafe

1801 E. Tropicana Ave, STE 8, Las Vegas, 89119

We were looking for a place to have breakfast in Las Vegas near the airport since we had an 11 AM flight and only an hour to spare. We discovered this small, local diner that turned out to be a fantastic find. There was no loud music, and the atmosphere felt very much like a classic diner. As I walked in, I saw four older gentlemen with a nostalgic, gangster-like vibe relaxing at the counter, which made me confident that I was in a place that served great food. And it really was delicious! Plus, I was able to catch my flight without any issues at all.

Toasted and Roasted

1477 E Lake Mead Pkwy Ste 100, Henderson, NV 89015

If you’re like me and sometimes prefer the serenity and beauty of Lake Las Vegas, away from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas, you’ll want to find a good breakfast spot in the area. We discovered Toasted and Roasted, which is not far from our hotel, and let me tell you, they have the best bacon ever! It’s crispy and melts in your mouth. Oh! And they have outdoor patio seating.
