Midnight Eddy @ Water’s Edge, a Beaver Lake Arkansas Airbnb
The king bedroom
The living room features bunk beds tucked away in a back alcove
We have family in Goshen, Arkansas, right near Fayetteville, and on this trip, we were on the lookout for a short-term rental. I was really hoping to score a Beaver Lake, Arkansas Airbnb with lake views but still stay close to everyone. Luckily, I found Midnight Eddy @ Water’s Edge, just 10 minutes from Goshen. It turned out to be the perfect spot to celebrate my grandson’s 9th birthday and spend quality time with relatives.
Why This House?
- The view from the deck
- The view from the top deck
- Gazing out at Beaver Lake
The View—THE VIEW, VIEW, VIEW
This place had a fantastic lake view, thanks to a wall of windows facing the water. Waking up to that scenery was honestly the highlight of my stay—well, besides being with family! A sliding glass door opens onto a deck with privacy screens on each side, which I loved. I spent so much time curled up on the couches by the gas fire pit, soaking in that stunning view.
Close to Family
Being close to our people was huge. Less time driving meant more time laughing, celebrating, and enjoying the trip. And being just a quick 20–30 minutes from downtown Fayetteville was an added bonus, even though we didn’t end up needing to go anywhere!
King-Size Bed (A Must!)
I always prioritize short-term rentals that feature a king-size bed. If you’re in the short-term rental business, trust me—having king beds is crucial. Not offering one could mean missing out on potential guests. Fortunately, the Midnight Eddy had a king bed, along with a queen bed and a bunk bed that includes a twin and a full-sized bed.

Two Amazing Fire Pits
This charming home boasts two fantastic fire pits!
- The wood-burning fire pit sits in the yard and gives you the best possible lake-view backdrop. My husband loved unwinding there with a cigar, and we made sweet memories roasting marshmallows with the kids.
- The gas fire pit on the deck creates a cozy, semi-private nook that’s perfect for relaxing in the evenings or in the mornings with a cup of coffee.
Right on the Lake
The lake was such a chill spot to hang out, even if it wasn’t prime fishing season. The kids had fun just throwing a line in, watching boats cruise by, and exploring near the water. Sometimes it’s the simple moments that make a trip special.
