If you’re looking for a fantastic breakfast in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Prelude Breakfast Bar is the place to be! Conveniently located downtown off Dickson Street at 509 W. Spring Street, #210, it’s easy to find. I recently visited while spending time with my granddaughter, and after having a sleepover at the Graduate by Hilton just a few blocks away, we were both quite hungry! A quick online search during our walk through downtown led us to Prelude Breakfast Bar.
The Food & The Company
“The best mornings begin with good food and great company,” they say on their website. I completely agree! The food was outstanding, and the company was even better—my granddaughter.

As soon as we plopped down at our table, we found out they don’t have Coca-Cola or Pepsi on the menu. Honestly, we were totally okay with that! They focus on local brands, and I’m all for it. It’s nice to see a place supporting homegrown options!
The food was fantastic! We ordered a plate of pancakes to share. My omelet was absolutely delicious. It was the Sweet Rocket omelet with bacon, onion, sweet potato, and goat cheese. Oh, and guess what? You can get a pancake flight, where you can choose any three pancakes! How’s that for a great breakfast in Fayetteville!

Be prepared for a wait as this place is quite popular. They even have an outdoor deck area for dining. You will hardly feel like you are in the heart of downtown.
Breakfast at Prelude in downtown Fayetteville was such a fun way to start the day! The pancakes, the Sweet Rocket omelet, and all the local flavors were amazing. However, the best part was sharing the experience with my granddaughter. If you’re in town and craving a tasty, relaxed morning meal, Prelude is definitely the place to go.
