The Tale
I’m heading to Fayetteville, Arkansas, for a spontaneous visit to see my grandkiddos, and I need a hotel! I like boutique hotels, and I stayed at The Graduate during the pandemic, which was awesome. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the whole experience then because everything was closed and we had to wear masks inside. So this time, I booked a room there again. I’m traveling solo and it’ll be a blast to have a home base in the center of downtown for some fun sleepovers with my grandkids!
The Hotel

- Comfy couches in the lobby (my grandson and I ate breakfast here)

The Room
- Whimsical wallpaper in a guest room bathroom
- A guest room with a Razorback mascot on the wall
- Complementary aluminum can of water
The highlight of the room? The balcony. Stunning views of the Ozark Mountains at dusk and at dawn, a relaxing place to sit and chat with the grandkids and drink my coffee.
The room had super light blue walls, a cool camouflage carpet, and a bright red headboard. It was comfy and clean, with a tad bit of wear and tear, but nothing major or that bothered me. I felt right at home hanging out there with my grandkids.
The Food and Drink
- The Trophy Room in the lobby
- Coffee on the balcony
- Breakfast at The Trophy Room
The Trophy Room Bar and Restaurant is situated in the lobby and serves as both a bar and restaurant at night, while also functioning as a breakfast venue in the morning. During our visit, we encountered a lively mix of guests: families dropping off their children at the university and businesspeople dressed in work attire with their laptops. My grandson had great things to say about the waffle (without chicken, please) and the hot chocolate.
