Hotel Deco, The Art Deco Hotel in Omaha, Nebraska
1504 Harney St, Omaha, NE 68102
- The entrance to Hotel Deco
- A guest room
- Monarch Restaurant
Hotel Deco is the kind of place that instantly pulls me in. From the moment I walk into the lobby, the Art Deco details grab me! The chevrons, clean lines, bold patterns! Oh! And those plush velvet touches set the mood for a stay that feels stylish yet still comfortable. The rooms are sophisticated, with more Art Deco touches carried through. The downtown Omaha location makes it easy to get around Omaha. And overall, it just has a great vibe. It’s one of those hotels that feels a little special without trying too hard. It’s exactly why I’d stay here again. Read more about this hotel here.

Magnolia Omaha feels like a tiny portion of old-world charm right in the middle of the city. As soon as you walk into the lobby, with its arched ceilings and Italian-palace vibes, it feels special, not stuffy. The rooms are comfortable and modern. The courtyard is a peaceful surprise. The location makes it easy to walk to Old Market, downtown Omaha, and nearby restaurants. The Farnam, an Omaha Luxury Hotel
1299 Farnam St, Omaha, NE 68102
- The lobby
- The lobby bar
- A guest suite
The Farnam is the kind of hotel that makes you feel a little fancy the instant you walk in. It is the only hotel on my list that is new and has no historical significance. However, they weave Omaha history throughout, even in the name Farnam, named for Henry Farnam. He played an important role in the Pacific Railroad Act, which helped establish the railroad’s presence in Omaha. From the warm welcome and surprise suite upgrade to the floor-to-ceiling windows, comfortable yet sleek rooms, and incredible city views, everything about this Omaha luxury hotel feels thoughtful and indulgent. Grab an Old Fashioned at the lobby bar and a perfectly cooked steak at Dynamite Woodfire Grill. All with a location that puts downtown Omaha and the Old Market right outside your door. It’s easy to see why The Farnam feels worth the splurge. Read more about this luxury Omaha hotel here.
